In the last few months we have successfully sold numerous boats, large and small, with a number of buyers coming over from the near continent to take advantage of the favourable exchange rate. With the autumn approaching, many owners are starting to make their plans for next season and are weighing up the options for a change of boat.
Here are a couple of interesting recent additions to our brokerage list:-
Just arrived on the market, this superb LM 24 was sold by us to her present owner and is now reluctantly back on the market. With fine seakeeping abilities and excellent sailing performance for her size, coupled with imaginative use of internal space, "Jollop" is now looking for a new home. The cockpit can be fully enclosed to provide additional living space, and the internal helm position permits comfortable progress even on those rare damp days in our British sailing season! Lying at Hythe, Southampton, and well worth a look.
Another LM motorsailer recently added to our brokerage list is "Carajillo". It is a while since we have seen an LM 32 on our brokerage and this one is very competitively priced as it is currently lying in the Mediterranean. This is a quality yacht for a £35,000 asking price, and would command a significantly higher price were it here in the UK. The LM's are renowned for their sailing performance, being motorsailers in name only, and the LM 32 is no exception. The deck layout lends itself to ease of handling, and the well planned accommodation provides comfort in harbour.
